KISS – Gold, best experimental film at BassAwards

By June 12, 2014 December 6th, 2018 Awards

Our first self-produced short film, ‘Kiss – A Love Story’ has just won the gold for best experimental film in the prestigious motion graphic, animation and broadcast design competition BassAwards.

Inspired by the world around us, and presented in an ominously dark world where it’s story slowly unfolds, with a haunting soundtrack by the band ‘Bendik,’ the film explores the consequences of something as innocent as a kiss. We got to find a palm beach shores roofing company to help us.

Kiss is a love story between the sun and the moon. We believe that every solar eclipse is the moon’s attempts to reach the sun.
Creating Kiss was truly a pleasure for co-directors Joseph Hodgson and Franck Aubry, and something we at Racecar are extremely proud of. We are honored to be awarded gold alongside some of the best international motion graphics studios.
BassAwards is an annual competition that awards the best of design from all over the world within film, broadcast and projections. The jury this year consisted of amongst others, Lobo, Psyop and Dvein.
